it's sure been a long time hasn't it? sometimes i even forgot i had this thing. so much to talk about, i dont even know where to begin.

i've been working at kohl's corporate office over the summer doing web development. i'll have to put a sample up here next time of this cool project ive been working on (it isnt done yet.) they gave me a full-time offer for after graduation which is a good deal. the ebenfits are awesome and the pay is great. of course i'll probably be moving out to waukesha or something after graduation since the office is in menomonee falls.
football has been going ok over the summer. the pewaukee team i was playing for went under so i went to play for the semi-pro team out of kenosha. last night i had the best game of the season for me: 3 receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown, 2 carries for 10 yards, and an interception on defense. we ended up losing 13-7, but it was still a good time.

school is ok this semester, im taking a bunch of freshman classes since i saved them for the end. still living with gary, but we moved to the house next to our old apartment and got three new roommates: cory, paul, and kris. oh man it's such a riot. i think the funniest night was when kris, cory, and i tried hooking up the washer and dryer in the creepy basement... i sure hope the water has frained out of that hole by now.
leaving for erika's wedding on wednesday morning which is really exciting. i get to be in the wedding :) im kind of wondering it its going to be weird in england or not, but i guess we'll find out soon enough. it still kind of feels like it isnt really happening, but im definitely happy for her though. so we'll get back on like the 26th and then like 3 days later, ill be heading down to st louis for the weekend to see the brewers play the cardinals. pretty much from the 19th to october 2nd, no one will really see me lol.

thats right, i am back. i believe this year is starting off the right foot (well for the most part, youll see what i mean further down.) i dont know why, but even numbered years seem to go better for me. started off the year with working mostly, but i was able to get all my finances under control again. also made a little extra money selling my laptop to my brother. bought myself a nice 94 grand am to drive around. gets about 31 miles ot the gallon and is in great shape. thats all that matters to me. i mean who cars if it does 0-60 in like 10 minutes lol

i got a raise today at work. well actually it's effective as of january 5th, but i just found out today. got a little irriatated with the head of my department, but maybe he was just having a bad day. doesn't matter, ill be out of there come may anyway. they asked if i would like to continue through the summer and i said i would get back to em. im pretty sure ill stick with the job from kohls though.

I finally did and i'm out of my slump. i went out and got me a girlfriend :) and her name is christy. no its not some random person, ive actually known her for a pretty long time. we got together last night after hanging out a lot this past weekend. if you wanna know more, i guess youll just have to meet her

school started which isnt too bad. i like having the change of pace. i need to clean up my room from moving in stil (i moved in over a week ago.) its so weird not having gary and nate here. we had a visit from the best aganet money can buy tonight. yeah that's right Nick Wallander: _{Super Agent}. we watched some tv and talked about things that could ahppen down the road. other than that, the main man has been kris. weve been playing a lot of basketball and hittin the weight room. i started this class in tae kwon do and so far i really like it. its a bit of a workout, but not as bad as people said it would be. im gonna be in the best shape of my life in a few months lol.

There is some sad news this year already though. mr k died on saturday. when i got the call, it almost didnt seem real, like someone was pulling a really bad joke. unfortunately, it wasnt. i cant really put into words what its like. lots of memories. you cant put into words how hes reached the lives of hundreds of people over the years.

so apparently my last real update was october 23rd. cant blame a guy for being busy. now i know it seems like i spend a lot of time sitting around doing nothing, but let me assure you im a very busy man. i seriously can not wait for this semester to be done with, it's been so stressful. plus working full-time again will be nice so i can get caught up on my bills.

thanksgiving was pretty sweet. i actually spent it at kalee's house and i had a great time. her family is so awesome (though she thinks im just saying that.) i think by the time i got home, it was like 1am and i had forgotten i had work the next day. at first i felt a little out of place, but her family was really inviting. i thought i should have brought something too so i brought a fruit basket. i wanted to bring a pie, but my mom told me this would be better.

i actually ran into kalee's dad yesterday too. i suppose that makes sense since i was at her dad's store because zach needed some stuff to do a school project. so him and i got to talking and it looks as if i'm going to be creating a new website for greenfield news and hobby. kalee didnt seem too thrilled about it when i told her. i think she's taking it as me trying to suck up to her dad. i just think it would be a good way to gain some exposure in the real world, especially since i intend on starting my own web consulting firm eventually.

last night was an awesome night. i went out with schindel, matt staat, and braulio. i wasnt sure how the night was going to go, but it turned out to be one of the best nights out ive ever had. we started off at leann's where she was having a house-warming party. got to see some homies from back in the day like nick, bill, john, leann, and kristin. i got my money's worth on the beer too. $5 for the cup and i drank like 8 or 10 cups full. only advice is dont eat tacos before going out. from there we headed out downtown and started at macgullacuddy's (dont know how to spell it). braulio made me do a shot of vodka with him and then we all had a beer. only reason we went there was to see schindel's bartender friend, but we couldnt find him. from there it was off to have a nice day cafe. ran into seargeant pollack there and he bought matt and i both a beer. also saw erica and shelly there, but they left pretty much right after i talked to them (no it wasnt because of me.) then of course to finish off the night, we went to george webb's

today i got up, packed up the car, picked up kalee, and headed out to whitewater. nothing too exciting. watched the pakcers lose. now i know theyre doing crappy in terms of wins and losses, but the games ahve been close and are entertaining to watch. i also donated a dollar to natlie to buy a goat (ask her). right now im at work just waiting for the night to end.

so ive been meaning to update and now that im back working at the library, i finally have time to again. there's not a whole lot going on. classes seem like they will be classes that will actually be interesting. band is going pretty well. we had our first game last night and i my section is awesome, we have a lot of fun. we had a huge party last night, perhaps one of the best we've ever had. about 25 people showed up and it was a really great time. lenny was right though, no matter how much you clean before the party, it's just gonna be back to being a big mess afterward. i cant wait to do that again :) that reminds me, i made a facebook group for the people who like to hang out at our apartment. the super original name is... Parker 105! (i get bored at work) only other thing going on is work which isn't too bad.

patsy will be home on friday night. im thinking of having a party back home on saturday night when he gets back and another one the weekend after out in whitewater. so if you can't make one, come to the other one.
